Now that IU has completed its shocking run, reflection as to the best playoff format will marinate in the off season. 12 teams is a nice number for a playoff. Likely, the schedule should be moved up so that the season ends before January 19, but that is a detail.

College football has always had the best regular season of virtually any sport. Now, 24-team proponents want to see 8-4 teams in the playoff?!?! No THANK YOU!
